Identify proactively and implement business process improvements
Evaluate and perform end-to-end analysis of the business’ risk and control environment to identify gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks
Ensure that controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols
Perform ongoing analysis of control metrics (e.g., KRI/KPI) and develop ad-hoc reports as requested to support business-related programs and strategies
Engage with control colleagues across PB business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit and technology to identify, define and execute against priorities
Lead working groups including deck creation, minute taking, action tracking & establishing and managing project plans that drive the development & execution of program strategy and strategic program workstreams
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services industry with background in Private Banking, business controls, quality assurance, operational risk management or compliance
Problem solving / analytical skills - solid critical thinking, attention to detail and analytical skills; able to synthesize large amounts of information and propose recommendations
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, quickly assess situations, and work across multiple concurrent work streams
Understanding of private banking business including associated products, services, regulatory/control requirements
Results-orientation and demonstrated ability to influence and drive change and best practices
Excellent communication skills and ability to interface globally with multiple levels of the organization, from senior management to subject matter experts
Project management experience to lead working groups that define, drive and execute complex and robust initiatives
