About the Role

As a Partner Success Manager, your primary responsibility will be to steward the growth and innovation of direct accounts in Japan. This entails serving as a strategic advisor for our premier direct merchants, crafting a robust market strategy, and implementing a dynamic go-to-market plan. Your efforts will focus on enhancing the 1st party delivery for restaurant merchants through the Uber Direct platform.

  • Own the growth strategy and planning for Direct account partners and drive execution of plan
  • Obtain and analyze merchant data to identify trends in order to achieve the growth strategy
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, understanding merchant needs and driving positive outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on feedbacks, trends, and insight from our partners
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to propel business advancement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address complex merchant challenges, influencing new product features or business processes.

Your Impact in Role

  • Act as the primary liaison for key enterprise merchants, managing inquiries and providing consultative support.
  • Develop and monitor business strategies across short, medium, and long-term horizons, adapting plans as needed.
  • Collaborate internally to spearhead new product development or process enhancements, addressing ongoing operational challenges faced by merchants.

The Experience You'll Bring

  • Proven sales and commercial strategy expertise, with the ability to analyze sales data and key metrics and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional communication skills, adept at engaging with various stakeholders including senior client representatives and internal technical teams.
  • A proactive approach, ready to take initiative and drive results.
  • Demonstrated resilience in the face of challenges; ability to solve complex problems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in SQL and data analysis to drive decision-making.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in managing large enterprise accounts, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Fluency in English catering to business requirements.
