• Responsible for developing, building and maintaining data platforms using bare metal infrastructure for running OS and Big data applications.
• Designs and implements fault tolerant systems (High Availability, Disaster Recovery) and creating a cloud-native enterprise data platform that drives real-time decision-making.
• Defines and operationalizes the data platform and maps relevant use cases for OS and/or Big Data applications.
• Develops, maintains, and improves deployment pipelines for infrastructure, applications and data. Maintains and ensures operational metadata (logs, performance metrics, etc.) are available for diagnostics.
• Builds architecture for data and/or Big Data Platforms and distributed systems. Creates automated solutions to deliver analytical capabilities and build new data pipelines.
• Analyzes information to determine business needs from requests and implement effective technical solutions by providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner and explain and interpret complex, difficult, or sensitive information.
• Takes a new perspective on existing solutions to solve problems of moderate to high complexity and exercise judgment based on the analysis (e.g. modeling, testing, etc.) of multiple sources of information.
• Lead small data engineering projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; plays significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.

Requirements

• Must have Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field.
• Must have 5 years of progressive experience in IT positions installing, upgrading, configuring, and maintaining/administering Informatica.
• Musthave 5 years of experience performing/utilizing the following:
  • Administration of Informatica Data Engineering Integration/ Big Data Management on 200 node cluster
  • Architecting Informatica DEI platform to support 15K+ daily jobs and to meet customer SLA.
  • Administration of Hadoop echo system products.
  • Utilizing experience with: Informatica DEI, Cloudera Hadoop, Hive, Ranger, HDFS, SQL, Data Warehousing, AIX, LINUX, Oracle, and ServiceNow

• Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Atlanta, GA. Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours’ notice.
