Actuary, People Advisory Services (Rewards) (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Los Angeles, CA.Provide actuarial services to clients, ranging from retirement plan funding and accounting valuations, forecasting, special studies, plan design and mergers and acquisitions, benefit certifications and various government reports for a variety of clients. Assist in audit support, reviewing clients assumptions, methods, disclosures and benefit calculations as part of financial statement audits under various bases, including US GAAP and IFRS. Understand and communicate complex actuarial issues.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, and 5 years of progressive, post­baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, and 4 years of related work experience.

Must have 3 years of pension actuarial experience, including pension valuations, benefit calculations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Must have 3 years of actuarial experience supporting financial statement audits and providing accounting disclosures under U.S GAAP.

Must have 3 years of experience reviewing pension funding.

Must have 3 years of project management experience, including planning, budget management, and reporting.

Must have 2 years of experience writing and presenting technical information to clients or senior management.

Must have an ASA or Enrolled Actuary certification.

Travel required up to 10%, to serve client needs.
