Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day quoting, pricing approvals and analysis
- Provide and enforce discounting guidance to Sales teams on all active and pending quotes across multiple regions
- Ensure that sales and negotiation strategies adhere to established guidelines and policies, and maintains solid understanding of F5 licensing
- Manage to a set service level agreement on all incoming discounted pricing requests
- Partner with Finance to ensure consistency and transparency with the key performance metrics for sales reporting
- Study historical product pricing trends as part of larger deal reviews
- Identify and implement new, meaningful methods for deal reviews, deal scoring, and approval process
- Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies
- Act as liaison between various departments such as Field Sales, Inside Sales, Channel Sales, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Global Services, Legal, Finance, and Accounting.
- Monitor and maintain assigned program(s)
- Provide communication and education on current processes and best practices
- Manage specifc ad hoc projects/tasks and provide updates to Sales Ops Leadership
- Focused on assigned task that supports the Sales Process, improving deal velocity and removing roadblocks to close business.
- Able to understand the ‘voice of the field’ and “voice of the customer” and represent that back to the operations team to drive programmatic improvements.

Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred
- A minimum of 3-year relevant experience within Sales Operations or comparative role supporting a sales organization
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table
- Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material
- Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)
- Must be willing to work extended hours during end of quarters
- Job may require occasional domestic and/or international travel
