Principal UX Content Designer

About the role:

• Content Strategy Leadership: Define and drive the content strategy for McAfee’s consumer products, ensuring that every piece of content is aligned with our mission to protect and empower users.

• Craftsmanship: Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly content that simplifies the product experience. Solve complex user, product, and business problems through innovative UX writing and content design solutions.

• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop a unified product narrative. Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and messaging across all user touchpoints.

• Systems Thinking: Lead the creation and refinement of content design processes, frameworks, and patterns that can be scaled across teams and products. Establish best practices for UX writing and content design that drive user engagement and satisfaction.

About you:

• 4+ years of experience in UX writing, content strategy, or a related field, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to craft user-centered content.

• 3+ years of experience leading content design projects, with a proven ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams.

• A portfolio or link showcasing your work is required (please provide access instructions if necessary).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization, with a deep understanding of how to balance user needs with business goals.

The starting pay range for this position is $135,910.00-$223,285.00. McAfee takes into consideration an individual’s skillset, experience and location in making final salary determinations. For further details, please discuss with the Talent Acquisition Partner.
