Responsibilities

  • Service loan requirements for a global and regional corporate and commercial credit portfolio, including special handling for an Asset Based Lending credit portfolio, acting in agency, participant and sole lender roles.

  • Support the processing and reconciliation of loan accounting entries, commitment, availability and loan records, loan statements, interest and fee billings, wire accounts, client special purpose collection and disbursement deposit accounts and multiple loan systems. GBS, Loan IQ and Stucky experience is an asset.

  • Direct market contact with Agents, Borrowers and Lenders, including use of lending portals

  • Review and adhere to credit approvals, legal credit agreements, corporate documents and policies and procedures

  • Support in-line quality assurance reviews and adherence to process risk control standards.

  • Acts as subject matter expert on the servicing of regional and global Corporate, Commercial and Asset Based Lending credit facilities

  • Monitor/Support/Supervise administrative duties, including control reporting and records filing

Qualifications

  • University degree with preference to finance or math and superior academic achievement

  • 7+ years of Corporate/Commercial banking experience

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Basic knowledge of Corporate and Commercial loan servicing, including Asset Based Lending, and legal credit agreements is an asset

  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately act on detailed instructions under pressure

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Participate in and support collaborative efforts to advance tools and technology enhancements

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Supervisory experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills
