You will work in a hybrid role from our office in the center of Manhattan and capture social content alongside the team.

*Please note, we are looking to hire this role in the New York Metro area*.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and Facebook, aligning with Vimeo’s brand and business objectives.
  • Lead the creation of compelling and informative content tailored to consumer/creator and B2B/SaaS audiences , including thought leadership articles, industry insights, customer success stories, and engaging multimedia content.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of Vimeo's LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and Facebook channels, including content scheduling, community engagement, and monitoring of brand mentions and conversations.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of social media efforts on brand awareness, audience growth, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Utilize social listening tools to identify trends, monitor competitor activity, and gather audience insights to inform content strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product marketing, content, and HR) to support product launches, events, and employer branding initiatives through integrated social media campaigns.
  • Stay abreast of the latest tech social media trends and platform updates to ensure Vimeo remains at the forefront of industry best practices.
  • Provide regular reports on performance across social platforms and campaigns, building out insights and learnings to be shared across the organization, and optimize strategy across all social channels in partnership with the Social Media Manager.
  • Implement strategies to engage with and grow our community , ensuring an integrated approach with our Social Media Manager across all channels.
  • Facilitate community management across key social channels (answering direct messages and comments daily across LinkedIn, X, Facebook & Reddit social channels).
  • Develop employee advocacy program to enable all Vimeans to easily participate in amplification of our social media content

Skills & Knowledge You Should Possess:

  • 4-6 years of experience in B2B/SaaS social media marketing , with a proven track record of success in managing organic social channels for enterprise software companies. ( required ).
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and Facebookplatforms, including their algorithms, content formats, and advertising options.
  • Strong analytical skillswith experience using social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Brandwatch) to measure performance and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent writing and communication skillswith the ability to craft compelling social media copy that resonates with B2B/SaaS audiences.
  • Have a knack for content creation and identifying social trends, including video (particularly TikTok videos) and image editing, to produce visually engaging social media assets.
  • Proactive and collaborative team playerwith the ability to work effectively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Bonus Points:

  • Experience in SaaS influencer marketing or community building.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to social media content optimization.
  • Familiarity with Vimeo's platform and its use cases for businesses, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Business Suite, and Figma.
