As an, you will work with Lead Resident Engineers on various (wastewater/civil/mechanical) construction projects, working closely with construction project teams comprised of Project Engineers, Estimators, Inspectors, Schedulers, etc.; and engage in a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with all departments; including stakeholders. You will support project teams on a variety of tasks including technical decisions, schedule reviews, change management, and project meetings with contractor and stakeholders; to effectively deliver results in a timely manner.
In addition, you will participate in the contract change process including receiving and responding to requests for information; develop and issue requests for proposals; receive and respond to requests for change; prepare engineer’s estimates and records of negotiations; prepare and issue field change orders; review construction submittals for compliance with the technical specifications and contract documents. Leadership, communication and organizational skills with experience in engineering construction management is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering, or Construction Management.
- (7+) years of experience in the administration of construction contracts and in the inspection of construction work in the field, working in a large or medium sized organization(s) with diverse functional requirements.
- 5+ years of experience as a Field Office Engineer and/or assistant Resident Engineer in an Engineering, Environmental or Construction organization
