You will have proven relevant experience and thorough technical knowledge required to plan and manage testing activities to integrate new rolling stock and wayside systems.
Testing may run on a 24 hour basis so unsociable hours working can be foreseen.
• Knowledge of signalling system design and testing
• Experience in developing / executing test procedures for new CBTC signalling systems
• Ability to communicate and develop test plans and engage and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team
• Ability to produce and present monthly progress reports
• Experience of working in small teams on time critical activities
• Ability to interpret and present on complex signalling and rolling stock interface matters.
• Good understanding of the fundamentals of safe systems of work for undertaking testing of new signalling systems.
• Delivery of projects through the complete life cycle, from concept to operational service, including knowledge of governing Standards and industry best practice.
• Knowledge of LTA / APAD assurance regimes with testing and bringing assets into use.
• Knowledge of Siemens Signalling Systems an advantage.
