Key job responsibilities
- Ensure partner success in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform
- Lead architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud- Drive organizational technical initiatives from ideas to fruition including design, implementation, automation and scale- Build relationships with senior technical individuals internally and externally to enable them to be cloud advocates
A day in the life
As an AMER Partner Solutions Architect, you will own technical engagements with a diverse portfolio of AWS partners, from startups to large enterprises. On any given day, you might be leading an architectural design session with a partner's engineering team, advising on the best approach to migrate a complex application to the cloud, or working with an AWS product team to ensure their offerings meet the needs of our partners. You'll also author technical content like whitepapers and blog posts, and represent AWS at industry events, sharing your expertise and inspiring partners to innovate on our platform.

- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
