What you'll be doing - Close Process: Conduct timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Journal Entries and Reconciliation: Prepare journal entries and reconciliation schedules to support monthly close package
- Accounting Treatment: Research, evaluate and document the accounting treatment for non-standard revenue transactions under US GAAP
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with cross-functional teams to make Unity’s close procedures more accurate and efficient
- Reporting, Audit, and Support: Assist with monthly reporting and flux analysis, assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements/footnotes and SEC supporting deliverables for internal and external stakeholders, support external/internal audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility, and support management by completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks
What we're looking for - Professional Certification: Chartered Accountant, or equivalent certification required
- Experience: Related work experience
- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of ASC 606, Revenue from Contract with Customers
- Teamwork: Strong team player that is willing to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Communication and Technical Skills: Superb communication skills, both written and oral, and knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level
You might also have - Adaptability and Attention to Detail: Adept at handling shifting priorities, meeting deadlines, and proven attention to detail
- Proactivity and Teamwork: Proactive and eager to learn new things, with the ability to work with team members spread across multiple locations
- Technical Experience: Experience with BI Systems, Salesforce, Zuora Revenue, Workday Financials, and/or NetSuite
