Job Description
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document metadata requirements on IT Service Management (ITSM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), IT Operations, Risk, Complience and Security, as well as metrics, key performance indicators and validated reports describing overall IT health, stability and performance.
Execute and improve data governance processes and workflows, ensure managed metadata is complete and accurate, up-to-date, acccesible and aligned with business needs and objectives
Identify data quality issues like data inconsistencies and gaps in ownership and drive remediation actions.
Leverage Collibra (metadata management system) to store and maintain metadata in accordance with industry best practices and organizational standards.
Collaborate with data stewards in IT organization to ensure proper data governance practices are followed, including data stewardship responsibilities, data access controls, data lineage, and data privacy regulations.
Gather stakeholder’s feedback, address concerns and introduce improvements on metadata management and data governance practice accordignly
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience in data governance, metadata management, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) concepts.
Familiarity with measures and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT stability and performance.
Understanding of data governance frameworks, standards, and regulations.
Familiarity with data stewardship responsibilities and practices.
Experience working with Collibra or similar metadata management tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
