This position is Monday - Friday 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM with an occasional Saturday

Job Summary:

Performs necessary duties to support equipment, building and grounds maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and correct any facility and equipment related failure.
  • Perform necessary preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Be involved with instillation and training on new equipment.
  • Perform equipment moves as required.
  • Perform/Support validation requirements on equipment when needed (IQ, OQ, IOQ, PQ).
  • Be able to comprehend electrical wiring diagrams, pneumatic drawings, mechanical drawings, and other facilities technical information.
  • Support vendors as needed.
  • Support facility LEAN initiatives as to how it relates to the maintenance department.
  • Perform all duties under the direction of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor or designate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Trade school degree in mechanical, electrical or
  • 3 years of work experience in maintenance position can be substituted for degree
  • Basic understanding of

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Understand all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute to Lean programs and activities towards delivery of the plant targets
  • Understanding of facility and production equipment
  • Understand how to read various schematics, including pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical
  • Ability to troubleshoot facility and production equipment issues, and direct maintenance personnel in same activities

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Sitting, kneeling, standing, walking, climbing, lifting (<50lbs), and other physical tasks associated with maintenance tasks
  • Work outside, inside, in hot or cold environments
  • Follow procedures, learn new tasks, understand and remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions, hold difficult conversations with team members
