Deliver trade ideas and investment opportunities, while providing the highest level of execution service and advice, specifically focusing on municipal bond markets.
Remain abreast of fixed income market intelligence, investment strategy and research to deliver actionable trade ideas to Financial Advisors, Bankers, Investment Counselors and Clients.
Act as a fixed income product expert while working in accordance with the business product programs, processes and procedures.
Ensure seamless execution, booking and reporting of fixed income brokerage transactions.
Increase client participation across the entirety of fixed income brokerage business.
Actively participate in regional sales and marketing forums to promote fixed income brokerage product capabilities.
Actively design and implement product and platform improvements to enhance the Advisor and Client experience.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years in a fixed income product, sales, or trading role preferably within a wealth management organization such as a Private Bank or Broker-Dealer.
Specific experience in municipal bonds, both primary and secondary markets.
Experience with brokerage fixed income, as well as portfolio analytic tools and interest rate pricing models.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team.
Self-motivated to provide proactive trade ideas within taxable and municipal markets.
Previous exposure to high net worth Private Clients and Family Offices would be beneficial.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time, explain complex concepts in a clear and simple language, and educate clients on the risks and potential benefits of transacting in fixed income products.
Strong IT and analytical skills essential.
Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment surrounding retail fixed income brokerage.
Series 7 and 63 required.
