OR formal training in a technical trade (e.g., machinist, electrician) AND technical experience in a similar industry
OR Associate's degree in Engineering or a related field

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities
Receiving guidance from an engineer, lab manager, or other technicians to determine which test tasks to perform, and achieving the agreed levels of operational throughput per shift.
Performing the test processes to the defined specs. with guidance from an engineer, lab manager, or other technicians.
Assisting in validating that manufacturing test equipment is operating within expected parameters with guidance from an engineer, lab manager, or other technicians.
Performing manufacturing quality inspections to document process outcomes with guidance from an engineer, lab manager, or other technicians.
Confirming optical fiber geometries by taking images and comparing readings against established test cases with guidance from an engineer, lab manager, or other technicians.
Recording manufacturing test data and assisting with basic analyses to identify bugs, defects, or failure rates with guidance from an engineer, lab manager, or other technicians.
Documenting daily progress and recording manufacturing throughput with links to spreadsheets, photos, and/or other supporting documents with guidance from an engineer, lab manager, or other technicians.
