Your responsibilities:

  • Manages the initiation, planning, phasing, execution, control, and closing of projects; develops and implements plans and processes while fostering team ownership and commitment to plans.
  • Estimates project levels of effort and structures requirements (resource, business & functional) using standard techniques and tools, collaborating with appropriate team members to understand scope and impact on the business.
  • Prepares plans, schedules, and budgets using project management tools; collaborates with relevant team members to identify tasks necessary for project completion.
  • Directs project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.
  • Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality; ensures project quality using standard development methodologies.
  • Communicates project status and performance by preparing standard status reports/dashboards and coordinating status update meetings.
  • Resolves project issues by collaborating with leadership, cross-functional partners, and other relevant parties. Provides input to functional managers on team and team member performance.

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Senior Project Manager or in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and experience managing the full project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using project management tools (such as Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Risk Register, Resource & Budget Planning, Visual Management, etc.)

Preferred qualifications:

  • PMI or PMP certification.
  • Capable of working and spearheading change and innovation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and at all organizational levels in a professional, solution-oriented manner.
  • Strong organization and execution skills, including demonstrated ability to confidently own responsibility for project progress, completion, and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of different project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
