Your role
As trainee, you will get practical experience with the theoretical knowledge you’ve learned in university, by learning how to contribute code, working with various DevSecOps tools and programming languages, and keeping up to date with all modern technologies in the field of cloud security, infrastructure operations, and release engineering (often referred to as “devsecops”). That skill set will be applied across the following activities:
- Learning various cloud architecture, development, and operations
- Learning how to architect and develop cloud-based infrastructure and processes
- Secure cloud-based applications and cloud infrastructure
- Automating application deployment, packaging and other aspects of release lifecycle
- Learning the process of troubleshooting and remediating infrastructure and application failures
- Lead activities related to test environments and support of local development teams
In this role, you’ll need …
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with at least one quarter/semester to complete after internship.
- Must be available to work full time during the summer months (May – August)
- This position is located in our Raleigh, NC office and requires in-person attendance at the office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) from May-August 2025. Relocation assistance is not provided.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- We are looking for highly motivated person with technical background, hungry for knowledge and ready to join the DevOps culture, best practices and tools.
- Familiarity with modern technologies and ability to learn fast
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic skills in Python, Bash
- Understanding of Cloud principles
- Good knowledge of Unix concepts and basic experience with Linux OS
- To be detailed oriented and well-organized with great time management skills

- Contributions to open-source community on Github or even your own “pet-projects” there
