Key Responsibilities
• To support operations in improving effectiveness of production lines with regards to repair & overhaul of avionics product.
• To liaise with technical team to develop and modify tools, methods and repair processes as and when necessary to improve specific repair and overhaul processes.
• To manage capital expenditure for projects funded to the operation line and/or site.
• To initiate and lead productivity / process improvement projects, including risk & cost analysis.
• To manage tooling and equipment to meet operational and quality standards.
• To support site in the drive for more level III repairs.
• To support site in new capabilities setup, New Product Introduction (NPI) implementation and First Article Inspection (FAI) for its product readiness.
• To perform continued operational standards related to test equipment at the site i.e. TPMs, AMs, etc ... to meet quality and safety standards.
• To develop detailed process procedures and to compile the documentation for new and existing capability.
• To identify and drive continuous improvement on the efficiency and methods of the site’s repair processes such as test equipment, tooling, etc ... to improve productivity at the site including automation or digitizing current standing processes at the site.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 8 years working in the avionics or electronics industry with at least 5 years of work experience in relevant product.
• Experience in Process improvement / Manufacturing process optimization / Continuous Improvement for the operation line
