Job Description:
The Service Delivery Specialist for the Network Services Portfolio and Engagement APAC team is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of network services to internal bank customers. This role acts as the primary liaison between the network engineering/operations teams and the commercial/procurement functions to ensure seamless service delivery, vendor management, and lifecycle management of network assets. You will help execute the strategy, manage financial and commercial aspects, and handle procurement of network circuits, pipes, switches, and other essential components. You will work closely with the manager and liaise with our global team to ensure smooth transitions and strategic success.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in service delivery, or commercial/procurement roles, preferably within the financial services or banking sector. A strong understanding of network technologies, vendor management, procurement processes, and financial management is essential. The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. This role requires a proactive professional dedicated to optimizing network service delivery and ensuring seamless operations.
Execution and Strategy
- Collaborate with senior IT leaders and the global team to ensure network infrastructure supports business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
Service Delivery Management
- Help manage the lifecycle of network components, from planning to decommissioning.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for security, performance, and reliability.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures, and maintain network asset inventories.
Contract and Vendor Management
- Assist in contract negotiations and manage relationships with network service providers and hardware vendors.
- Oversee procurement processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to budget.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure SLA compliance and prompt issue resolution.
- Compare capacity management reports with vendor billing to ensure alignment and accuracy, identifying discrepancies and working with vendors to resolve them
Financial and Commercial Management
- Assist in developing and managing the budget for network infrastructure, ensuring efficient resource use and cost control.
- Provide financial reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting variances and recommending actions.
- Ensure proper financial management of network infrastructure projects and operations.
Risk and Compliance
- Identify and help mitigate risks, including security vulnerabilities and service disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive initiatives to enhance the performance, reliability, and security of network infrastructure.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Transition Management
- Develop strategies for seamless handovers of new or upgraded infrastructure.
Inventory Management
- Oversee the inventory of network components, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain detailed records of circuit ownership for accountability and proper management.
Education and Experience
