Reports To: Program DirectorExperienced Contract Procurement Manager to support a large-scale mixed-use development program. The successful candidate will lead and manage all procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and organizational policies. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in contract management, procurement processes, and stakeholder collaboration for complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
Contract Management:

Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and timely delivery of services.

Procurement Strategy Development:

Create and implement procurement strategies that support project objectives, mitigate risks, and align with budgetary and time constraints.

Vendor Selection and Management:

Identify, evaluate, and manage a pool of qualified Consultants, suppliers and contractors. Oversee vendor performance to ensure quality, adherence to timelines, and cost control.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Assess potential risks within procurement processes and contracts; establish mitigation strategies to manage and reduce those risks.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

Ensure all procurement processes adhere to industry standards, project requirements, local regulations, and organizational policies.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contract negotiations, and vendor interactions. Prepare reports on procurement performance and contract compliance.

Here's what you'll need

Qualifications
Educational Background:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or law is mandatory. Master’s degree in management or law

Minimum relevant experience of 15 years. Should have worked in the role Contract Specialist for at least similar real estate projects exceeding 200 acres of mixed-use nature with knowledge of standard procurement norms, FIDIC etc.

Technical Skills:Proficiency in contract management software; strong understanding of procurement best practices.

Analytical and Negotiation Skills:Ability to conduct complex negotiations, resolve disputes, and analyze data to drive procurement decisions.


Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively.


Proven ability to identify issues, analyze situations, and implement practical solutions within the constraints of large, complex projects.
