As a(n) Maintenance Mechanic II, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Understanding and following all safety policies and procedures
• Performing routine repair tasks on production equipment following specific procedures
• Visually inspecting and testing machinery and equipment
• Performing essential duties to repair machinery, piping, instruments, and electrical devices.
• Utilizing plant computer systems and performing data entry

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Required:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of plant maintenance experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Desired:

• An advanced maintenance skill obtained from an educational trade school.
• An Oklahoma Journeyman License or the ability to obtain one.
