Human Resources (HR) comprises advice, services, and solutions in the areas of human resources management (e.g. total rewards, learning, talent acquisition & development, mobility) and organisation (e.g. leadership, organisational development, diversity).Total Rewards (TRW) comprises the definition, provision, and managing of total compensation, job evaluation, mobility, and benefits design and administration.


HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Reporting to VP Total Rewards, the candidate works as a individual contributor providing professional level compensation consulting advice and analysis to inform the decision making of key internal stakeholders (CPO, VP Total Rewards, other colleagues in HR, Legal & Finance).• Provides internal consulting advice on executive compensation topics to senior executives and other colleagues. Contributes to the drafting of papers and compensation data for proxy disclosures and Personnel Committee meetings.

• Leverages experience and relationships with external stakeholders (i.e. compensation market data providers, compensation consultants) to provide market insight on executive compensation topics.

• Uses in-depth organisational and market knowledge to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes and services and achieve objectives.

• Contributes to strategic decisions within the CPO Performance and Reward team with a clear focus on executive compensation.• Defines processes for own area of expertise.• Solves complex problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment.• Contributes to development of concepts to determine professional direction of own organisational unit.• Acts as a executive compensation subject matter expert, who provides best practice recommendations within the CPO function and to other key internal stakeholders (i.e. Business Groups, Functions, with a particular focus on relationships with People Partners and other Reward professionals).

• Often leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and complexity, handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.

Demonstrates success in multiple roles and is adaptable to manage complex changing business environments.Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function and teams, and typically has responsibilities for communicating with parties external to the organisation, which may include customers or vendors.Works to influence others to accept job function’s view/practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.Has cross-cultural knowledge and global mindset Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organisation. May conduct briefings with senior leaders within the job function. May at times be required to negotiate regarding operational issues.Management Experience / Achieved well-advanced skills of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and organisational practice or expertise. Recognised expert in their field (depth & breadth). Typically requires 5-8 years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.
