The Compensation Manager will focus on developing and delivering global compensation policies. This role will require someone who is a self-starter. You will oversee the current programs and make recommendations to allow the organization to scale going forward.
As a Compensation Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing global compensation cycles including sales compensation, annual compensation program review, annual salary and bonus planning.
- Providing advice and counsel to HRBPs and senior staff on pay decisions including policy and guideline interpretation.
- Conducting research, annual market analysis resulting in best practices; providing input on recommendations on global plans and programs; ad hoc analysis and planning
- Providing thought leadership on compensation and related topics within the global compensation community and with internal clients.
- Designing, developing and implementing programs that enhance Akamai's ability to attract, motivate and retain talent.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Have the ability to identify challenges and develop appropriate solutions while meeting competing and shifting deadlines
- Able to work independently, prioritize multiple stakeholders and tasks, manage details and deliver results in an environment with competing demands.
- Have exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills
- Have proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
