Job Description
U.S. Bank has a senior Global Corporate Action & Entitlements Analyst position opening within our Asset Servicing space within our fast-growing Global Custody Operations group.
As a Global Operations Analyst you will work together with our parent company (U.S. Bank NA) on a daily/weekly basis.
• Collates, interprets and verifies information on corporate action events received from custodians / CSDs.
• Ensures voluntary elections are made accurately and timely in the market, to prevent financial loss.
• Balances positions and accurately calculates and processes entitlements on key processing dates.
• Engages directly with sub custodians and Network Management on event inquires and issues.
• Proactively and effectively addresses customer, business line and management inquiries and escalates where appropriate.
• Assists with updating and reviewing departmental procedures as a Subject Matter Expert.
• Identifies areas of improvement to enhance the control environment and works with management to effect changes.
• Maintains awareness of legal and regulatory requirements, pertinent to trust and the securities industry
• Accountable for understanding and achieving Service Level Agreements.
• Participates in team and cross-functional projects.
Main requirements:
•Third level degree ( Business / Economics / Finance) or relevant experience
•3 years' experience in Asset Services or related finance role
•Custody / Operations knowledge will be a benefit
Knowledge requirements:
•Corporate Actions
•Asset Servicing / Custody experience
•Knowledge of SWIFT is desirable
•Knowledge of Global markets is desirable
