The AML Risk Framework and Reporting – Regulatory Exam Manager supports AML regulatory examination activities by working collaboratively with the first and second lines of defense to execute activities associated with AML Regulatory Exams. This role is responsible for leading and managing AML examinations conducted by regulatory supervisory agencies, provide credible challenge to all AML related deliverables, coordinate, support and track all exam deliverables for on time submission
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead AML examination activities with 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defense for AML regulatory examinations
- Support the completeness and accuracy of deliverables.
- Provide credible challenge to responses and artifacts.
- Lead discussions with AML Senior Management, CIA and business lines. Work proactively with AML Stakeholders and the business to achieve satisfactory AML regulatory examination outcomes while demonstrating “credible challenge” when and where necessary.
- Provide support for the development and successful implementation of consistent exam management standards and practices throughout AML globally.
- Produce and manage metrics regarding regulatory examinations for Citi AML
- Collaborate with Citi AML regions and functions to proactively ensure audit and exam readiness. Develop and actively manage relationships across AML and the business, facilitating proactive and transparent communications.
- Support risk initiatives to improve the bank’s position with respect to matters requiring attention. Comprehension, interpretation, implementation of policies and procedures, considering the regulatory or business environment.
- Support the AML functions to ensure adherence and compliance to the procedures in place.
- Work alongside International AML team to track global issues and escalate as appropriate.
- Track and maintain data related to all regulatory AML examinations to publish and share with multiple AML stakeholders and functions for committee updates
- Assist in creating presentations to be shared with governing regulating bodies.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years relevant experience ; preferably 5+ years in AML
- Experience in project management or managing several deadlines at any given time
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Advanced analytical skills
- Ability to both work independently and collaborate with team members
- Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience in creating presentations in PowerPoint
Education:
- Bachelors (4 Year University) Degree or equivalent experience required
