Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in policy analysis and campaigns, working on technology issues or the policy environments that surround them.
- 7 years of experience working within government, think tanks, public interest groups, technology industry groups, or corporate public policy organizations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in broad policy in the tech sector or the key issues impacting the Web, like intellectual property, free expression, Internet access and online safety.
- Experience in high-pressure settings, demonstrating good judgment in crises.
- Ability to work with people from a broad range of backgrounds and experience, such as leading campaigns and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Ability to think, plan, self start and execute large projects.
