Responsibilities:
Support the Chief of Staff & the Strategy Management team by continuously refining management practices and operational disciplines to achieve the business agenda, operational excellence, and leadership alignment.
Provide direct support to our executive team in a well-managed and intentional way anticipating and responding to requests with speed, simplicity, and accuracy. Identify impactful issues and take ownership of resolution actions.
Coordinate standing leadership team meeting agendas and track action items.
Plan and facilitate associate-facing operating rhythms to both derive and promote our strategic agenda. Examples include Strategy Planning Sessions, Roundtable Discussions, Market Visits, and Town Halls facilitated by building content, ensuring readiness of materials, and planning engaging activities for associates.
Craft Business Goals with leaders and drive progress toward achievement of goals via execution of strategic initiatives.
Programmatically manage Strategic Initiatives while also leveraging project management fundamentals for specific projects as needed. Implement and maintain a structured approach with an eye on transparency and consistency of delivery and prioritization methodology.
Develop and execute change management plans as needed in support of operational changes affecting our associates.
Work to connect the dots across the organization, identifying common needs, horizontal approaches, and opportunities to drive consistency across teams.
Work to better our Culture by collaborating with the extended Chief of Staff team supporting centralized efforts around Associate Engagement, Workplace Management, Workforce Management, Recognition Strategy, Team Communications and other ad hoc enablement efforts.
The successful candidate will:
Maintain a strategic mindset in all aspects of the work, understanding the big picture of our strategic agenda.
Have project management experience to apply rigor and ensure completion of ad hoc projects varying in size and scope.
Demonstrate ability to influence leaders, teams, and partner stakeholders without direct authority.
Be highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Be flexible and results oriented while delivering multiple priorities.
Be comfortable with ambiguity and create structure where none exists.
Leverage creative skills to develop content and experiences for associates.
Have analytical experience with data to summarize metrics and insights for leaders.
Possess strong communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of the organization from our junior associates to senior executives.
Apply discretion when handling sensitive conversations and information.
Be a culture leader supporting an inclusive and thriving work environment for all.
Develop deep relationships with key stakeholders and partner teams to ensure coordination across organizational activities.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or Military experience
At least 5 years of experience in Project, Product, or Process Management OR supporting a Chief of Staff, Internal Communications, or Business Analysis team.
At least 2 years of experience directly supporting Senior Leaders across varied business functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree or MBA
6+ years of Project Management or Chief of Staff team experience.
3+ years of Commercial Banking experience within Lending, Underwriting, Portfolio Management, Risk, Relationship Management, or Financial Consulting.
3+ years of experience working with Executive Leadership
