Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong C and Assembly Programming with OS & Multi-Processor concepts.

  • ARM Trust-Zone & ARMv7/v8 architecture.

  • Embedded software driver development in C and C++ on ARM.

  • Good debugging skills with experience on debugging with Lauterbach JTAG debuggers.

  • Hands on experience of driver development on Android or any OS.

  • Should be able to ramp up fast and must have the attitude to work with the team.

  • Work on challenging customer requirements and issues.

  • Basic understanding of hardware blocks - Clocks, PLLs, GPIO, Interrupt Controllers (GIC), Peripherals (PCIE, USB, UFS).

  • Basic understanding of DCVS Concepts and Thermal Mitigations, Power Mgmt IC including Regulators, LDOs.

  • Closely work with the hardware team to contribute/suggest modifications to the hardware design.

  • Critical thinker with sharp problem solving and debugging skills.

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.

  • Possess 3+ yrs of experience in embedded software driver development and having expertise in the below areas would be

  • Any Past working experience on Qualcomm chips.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies Software knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.

• Analyzes user needs and software requirements to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency.

• Designs and implements software modules for products and systems.

• Participates in the design, coding for large features, unit testing, significant debugging fixes, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedules.

• Performs code reviews and regression tests as well as triages and fixes issues to ensure the quality of code.

• Collaborates with others inside project team to accomplish project objectives.

• Writes technical documentation for Software projects.

Level of Responsibility:

• Works under supervision.

• Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.

• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.

• Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Pay range:

$88,000.00 - $132,000.00
