Description
We are looking for an engineer who is passionate and great at debugging problems. You will solve issues found in the automated test system and find practical workarounds. The dial candidate will be very hands-on, well-organized and highly detail oriented. You will investigate the details of the test results, discover problems in the Mac performance and report the problems clearly.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Debug and fix device hardware, software, automation failures- Analyze test results in detail- Identify trends in the data- Isolate problems and write bug reportsNOTE: This will be a 12 month fixed term contract position.
Minimum Qualifications
- Skilled in fixing black-box systems and solving issues related to computer, network system and client-server system
- Experience with full-stack web debugging (front end, web services, backend)
- Knowledge of embedded systems, low level software, computer architecture
- Experience as a test engineer, or software engineer
- Ability to think clearly and write bug reports that are easy to understand
- Highly organized and passionate about achieving results in a fast paced work environment
- Quick learner
- Excellent teamwork
- Good communication skills in written English and spoken Japanese language
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with managing operations, organizing testing in a lab environment
