Summary:
General Responsibilities:
- Strategy development, planning and tactical delivery of communications content and channels for Capital One Philippines: both internal (across multiple projects and initiatives) and external.
- Reviews and approves content through identified appropriate internal and external channels prior to final approval by Head of Communications
- Develops and maintains a strong collaborative partnership with various internal stakeholders and customers from Capital One Philippines and from the broader Customer Channels or Card Communications Team.
- Relationship management with external communications agencies that may be performing work on behalf of Capital One Philippines.
- Manages financial budget assigned directly to the Communications Team.
- Secondary lead for Risk-related activities such as Corporate Audits and Business Continuity Activities.
- Provides functional leadership to a team, as applicable, including ensuring adherence to agreed-upon timelines and quality of work produced by the team.
- Other job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Basic Qualifications:
Educational Background and Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts, Organization Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Business Management or other related courses, or with equivalent work experience
- 8 or more years of experience in Corporate Communications, Organizational Communications, Marketing or Advertising in a managerial capacity
- Experience in managing and handling Crisis Communications
- Experience in collaborating across all levels in an organization that is fast-paced
- Experienced in developing end-to-end communications strategies with measures of success, developing content (written and creative formats) and managing/monitoring tactical delivery
- Experienced in engaging with public relations/media firms and developing strategies for external communications and organizational brand management
- Candidate must be willing to work in Alabang when needed
- Candidate must be willing to work in a mid shift schedule
- Work set up is predominantly "Work at Home"
