Key Responsibilities:·Evaluate logistics processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in all aspects of Distribution Center warehouse operations.·Conduct thorough assessments of existing processes using a standardised and repeatable model to identify areas for improvement.·Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops to engage cross-functional teams to develop practical solutions to complex operational challenges in the 3PL environment.·Develop and implement process improvement plans, utilizing Lean tools and methodologies (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC).·Collaborate with stakeholders to set measurable performance goals and track progress against process improvement goals.·Develop training and coaching programs to empower employees with Lean principles and continuous improvement techniques, fostering a culture of excellence throughout the organization.·Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of process changes and identify further opportunities for enhancement.· Prepare and present reports to senior management on process improvement projects to communicate findings, recommendations, and the impact of process changes.·Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization by encouraging innovative thinking and collaborative problem-solving.·Stay current with industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management to continuously enhance operational practices.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in process improvement, Lean methodologies, and Kaizen events in a large-scale distribution environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt) are a plus.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,200 and $209,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
