Responsibilities
- Define and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and processes to ensure product quality.
- Drive end-to-end system testing including functional, regression and performance testing.
- Collaborate with development, product and apps teams to understand requirements and ensure testability.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on testing strategies and quality best practices.
- Review test cases and QA deliverables; provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in software testing and QA methodologies.
- Optimize QA processes for efficiency and scalability; manage tasks and documentation using Jira, Confluence, and related tools.
- Ensure timely bugs reporting, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and quality metrics.
- Minimum 8-10 years proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Strong Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Strong leadership, team player, coaching and mentoring skills.
- Experience in Non-functional testing
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Thorough Understanding of Software Development Life Cycles
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to communicate with international teams and interfaces outside of local site
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
