Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Review and approve business terms for sell-side deals on behalf of the Business Practices team.
- Draft commercial terms in sales contracts and edit existing terms.
- Spot risk or anomalies in complex commercial terms and escalate to accountable teams within Salesforce.
- Work closely with our offshore services team to increase Salesforce’s deal velocity and improve our customers’ buying experience.
- Help to develop and refine best practices around commercial terms, deal review and approval, and related business processes.
- Create and maintain training material and playbooks for the Business Practices team.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum BA/BS degree required
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred
- At least five years of business practices, deal approval, and/or deal support
- Strong understanding of current business trends, contractual terms, and deal drivers in cloud industry
- Strong ability to comprehend and evaluate the business risk in contract language
- Comfort with making controversial decisions in high pressure situations
- Strong business acumen and analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills – able to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively to drive results
- Ability to work independently in an undefined environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing and prioritizing competing demands
- Adept at thinking on your feet amidst ambiguity
- Proven experience leading and influencing at various levels across the organization
- Ability to handle conflict and navigate discussions to productive outcomes
