Maintains compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products. Works directly with Global Trade Compliance Manager, internal organizations, freight forwarders, and Customs Brokers to facilitate import/export processes in line with all SFDA and other KSA State Institute requirements, with primary focus on Import.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with audits Brokers by conducting periodic reviews of brokers' service to ensure quality service and to resolve any problems (e.g., broker visit, compliance, timely clearance).
· Expedites difficult shipping situations (e.g., dangerous goods, new product introductions, customs clearance, etc.) to ensure timely delivery.
· Works with carriers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies to identify and resolve Import compliance issues.
· Provides training and direction as needed to the Traffic Assistant(s) in the preparation of exports and imports.

· Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
· Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.
· Requires basic conceptual and technical knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within own job function
· Applies general business knowledge obtained through education or past experience with guidance from others
· No supervisory responsibility; accountable for own contributions and meeting objectives with guidance more senior level roles/manager
· Solves problems in repeatable situations; uses defined professional concepts and company policies and procedures; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments
· Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles/manager
· Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities; works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
· Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding
· Compiles and organizes data/ information to support discussions and inform decision making
