DESCRIPTION

We are looking for Systems Engineers to work as a team that will deploy AWS generative AI and Machine Learning services, such as Bedrock, SageMaker, and Rekognition, to air-gapped regions and support government customers operating in those regions. You'll be part of a truly innovative team in a fast-paced environment that has the entrepreneurial feel of a start-up. You'll become an expert at platform diagnosis, response, measurement, and automation. You will design and build the operational scalability that sustains the platform's insane growth.- Think Big. You will strive to improve and streamline processes to allow for work on a massive scale.This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be able to take a defined project, break down the work to help define milestones, and feedback mechanisms. You identify when implementations are not highly available or have defects; you investigate systemic patterns. You resolve, mitigate, or escalate operational concerns in a timely manner.Our ADC Engineers spend time:- Taking a proactive approach to maintaining service health by investigating performance outliers through metric analysis and log diving
- Increasing service knowledge by diving deep into its architecture to better understand system configuration and dependencies
- Studying and learning along some of the industry’s top experts on cloud computing- Building and launching AWS services from ordering hardware to deploying software
- Participating in an on-call rotation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Associate's degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
- 3+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows).
- Experience working with scripting languages.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- In lieu of above relevant work experience, degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with supporting, operating, and troubleshooting highly available cloud services at scale
- Experience creating and improving documentation, runbooks, automation for ops.
- Familiarity with ADC security policies, information handling, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in scripting/coding for automation and operational tasks.
