What to Expect

The Security Supervisor will supervise, organize, and evaluate the work of the security staff. The Supervisor will lead th eday-to-day activities of their assigned shift and ensure productivity in alignment with policy and procedure.

What You’ll Do
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand the risks Tesla's faces and build effective programs to mitigate these risks
  • Provide on-going security recommendations during design,construction, and any type of site refresh; Drive digital business transformation by identifying and supporting adoption of new technologies and tools
  • Establish projections for and reconcile security spends, minimizing variance between projected and actual spend, driving efficiencies to create a financially sustainable security practice
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and regional first responders; Support and manage vendor relationships including key performance tracking, accountability, and cost effectiveness
  • Proactively identify, develop, and implement additional security strategies to meet the unique needs of the Tesla business. Support the design and implement security mitigations, which are cost-effective and meetthe needs of our business partners
  • Act as point of contact in an emergency or critical circumstance developing the emergency response plan for a range of security incidents at the site
  • Create and implement policies and procedures to support the local and global security program; Deliver security training and awareness programs to employees
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of security experience with at least two years as a People Manager
  • Experience in a Security function managing large sites, corporate, or manufacturing environment is desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experiene
  • Up to date security certifications and/or licensing for the US state the position is based in; CPP, PSP or equivalent certifications are a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
  • Experience with access control, surveillance, and other security systems
