Platform Quality and Risk Management Lead - Senior Manager

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead and support Indirect Technology Platform Quality and Risk Management initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring that platform applications meet firm-wide quality, compliance, and security standards, particularly in alignment with Technology Quality and Risk Management (TQRM) requirements.

Your key responsibilities

  • Oversee platform application compliance with TQRM standards, including completion of EY quality and risk management documentation requirements .
  • Coordinate with Platform Engineers to ensure adherence to data retention and independence restrictions.
  • Understand and apply application architecture standards.
  • Coordinate with Lead Engineer and Application Engineers to align with Information Security during release cycles.
  • Facilitate Information Security testing and engagement.
  • Lead coordination with the Architecture Review Board for platform changes.
  • Collaborate with support teams to implement necessary changes.
  • Coordinate with other relevant EY technology groups and business stakeholders, as needed.

To qualify for this role, you must have

  • A bachelor's degree in technology, information systems, or computer science, and a minimum of 7 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 6 years of related work experience
  • Approved certification
  • Prior experience in platform quality or risk management role.
  • Familiarity with front-end programming languages such as C# and .NET.
  • Understanding API functionality, AI concepts, and Azure platform usage.
  • Ability to interpret and translate code (not hands-on coding).
  • Experience working across infrastructure and application layers.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across technical, risk management, and business stakeholders.
  • Exposure to enterprise-level architecture and release management processes.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams including engineering, Infosec, and compliance.

Ideally, you will also have

  • Excellent prioritization, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Characteristics of a forward-thinker and self-motivator that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new skills.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience managing personnel and participating in hiring processes.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,700 to $294,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,000 to $335,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
