you will help employees identify growth opportunities, develop skills, and build development plans. You will lead a team of OSP Telecom engineers that are remote. You will establish and communicate performance expectations, identify and address gaps, and monitor performance to ensure plans are met. This opportunity will allow you to contribute to building a world-class network infrastructure by working with Metro Dark Fiber, Long-Haul Fiber, subsea, and Lit Wave circuits. With a flexible workplace, you can work from home partially or fully and/or come to the office on an as needed basis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, telecom engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years project or people management experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, telecom engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years people management experience.
  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
