Description/Brief Summary of what role entails (Job Purpose)

The Senior Finance Analyst within the Engagement Team plays a pivotal role in leveraging data-driven insights to enhance stakeholder engagement and drive project success. You will be responsible for interpreting and refining business logic, ensuring the quality of data, developing meaningful performance metrics, and facilitating effective engagement strategies through advanced data analysis.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Interpret, validate, and refine business rules and logic to align with engagement objectives, ensuring technical perspectives support business strategies.
• Assess data for accuracy, completeness, and relevance, produced by the Data Engineering, Data Science, and Business Intelligence teams, with a focus on application integration within engagement platforms.
• Develop, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively gauge and communicate the performance of engagement strategies and project progress.
• Administer Smartsheet and Jira to optimize new project onboarding, workflows, and notifications for the Engagement Team, enhancing project management and communication.
• Develop quick prototypes using tools such as Excel and PowerApps to demonstrate engagement concepts and solutions to stakeholders and internal teams, providing tangible previews of projects.
• Champion the adoption of self-service analytics tools within the organization, empowering team members to conduct their data analyses and enhance decision-making capabilities.
• Conduct analyses, such as pipeline efficiency and trend analysis, to provide strategic insights that support the Engagement Team's objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in project management tools and advanced data analysis software.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analysis role, with a strong focus on engagement or customer relationship management.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple data-centric projects and driving them to successful completion.

Essential Skills:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with databases, OLAP, and data cube technology.
• Strong programming skills in Python, particularly in data transformation and analysis.
