The person hired for the position will lead and perform noise, vibration, harshness, and thermal management testing projects.
Here, you will make an impact by:
Managing and performing testing to validate the solution for full vehicle and component
Analyzing test results and making recommendations for requirement verification of the product or solution
Developing, implementing, and standardizing advanced test methods and procedures
Working collaboratively with development engineers, application engineers, and account managers to support design and product optimization
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in a science or engineering discipline
One (1) year of NVH or acoustics experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master's degree or higher in NVH from an accredited institution
Proficiency in NVH test methods and data acquisition systems
Demonstrated NVH system developing and testing experience for commercial vehicles
Ability to generate novel ideas and creatively apply to NVH testing and applications
Strong product development, planning, and analytical skills
Excellent communication (e.g. written, verbal, presentation)and teamwork skills
Work location:
Indianapolis, Indiana
