Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will design and develop solutions involving robotics, data management and precision conveyance. You will participate in large-scale HW engineering projects, supporting global deployments of equipment. This position will be filled with a candidate identified as a future leader, capable of driving AFT into the lead of HW system design and we are looking for candidates who are up to the task.A day in the life1. - Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Eng, Mechatronics, Robotics or related discipline
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in IPC/PLC code development and installation of controls solutions,
- Understanding of industrial networking (Profibus, ASi and Industrial Ethernet) and Ethernet Networking solutions and concepts
- 4+ years Basic coding skills in a modern programming language, such as Java, C++, Python, etc. in a UNIX/Linux environment to assist with automation and reporting tasks.
- Experience with creating automated alarms, reports and KPI metrics for plant management.

- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent industry experience
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- At least two life-cycles of large scale control system experience (design, development and deployment) utilizing IPC/PLC programming.
- Experience managing and coordinating with multiple 3rd party suppliers.
