As a Liquidity Product Area and Projects Associate within the Europe, Middle East, and Africa Operations team of our Treasury department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the firm across the Liquidity Risk Infrastructure and Structured Interest Rate Risk reporting.

Your responsibilities will include supporting technology development, managing operating models and controls, stakeholder management, process improvements, and handling regulatory requests and audits. You will have the opportunity to work closely with reporting stakeholders on the reporting control framework, reporting methodologies, and policy updates. Your understanding of Europe, Middle East, and Africa regulatory reporting requirements including Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Additional Liquidity Monitoring Metrics, Net Stable Funding Ratio, Asset Encumbrance & Prudential Regulation Authority 110 will be crucial in proactively supporting system improvements to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the data in those reports, and your involvement in related regulatory reviews and assessments (Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process, Less Significant Institutions Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process etc.) will be highly valued.

Job Responsibilities

  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure complete and accurate logging of Liquidity reporting changes driven by regulatory or internal change requirements
  • Support technology development by ensuring appropriate prioritization of tasks, monitoring build progress and managing release testing and implementation through assisting the Product Owner of the International Regulatory space
  • Monitor and ensure consistent and streamlined operating models and controls across the reporting locations. Periodically review team control processes, ensuring data accuracy and completeness, and providing management reporting
  • Manage relationships across internal stakeholders including Line of Business (LOBs), Policy, Strategy and Risk. Includes ownership of regular touch points to review project progress and the support of ad-hoc requests.
  • Compile metrics and present updates to senior management for review & escalation as required.
  • Work with key stakeholders, internal and external auditors to ensure independent reviews and regulatory requests are given the necessary priority and managed in a timely fashion
  • Enhance and redesign existing processes to increase efficiencies and reduce operational risk utilizing intelligent automation solutions (including Alteryx, Tableau).

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Relevant experience in the financial services industry, within a regulatory reporting/change management role
  • Proficiency in standard software applications (MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc.)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, partnership and influencing skills at all levels of management
  • Time management, planning, and organizational skills, and ability to multitask, in order to coordinate a variety of different responsibilities and bring tasks to complete closure
  • A control mindset and experience of working with/creating control processes
  • A creative thinker with strong analytic and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Accounting qualification preferred (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Bachelor degree required (Engineering, Finance or Business degree preferable)
  • A knowledge of, or interest in learning and applying automation packages (Xceptor, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Atlassian product suite (Confluence, JIRA etc.)
  • Understanding of interest rate risk principals, funds transfer pricing, and regulatory liquidity reports
