As a Content Library Product Owner with German, you will play a pivotal role in steering of the development and management of the content library platform. You will contribute to shaping the vision, strategy, and roadmap of the content library and harmonize these aspects with overarching business objectives. Furthermore, you will have a close coordination with the project manager and content teams to establish priorities in alignment with production schedules.
Your key responsibilities
- Defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the content library, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Resolving priorities, scheduling, risks management, and monitoring tasks and progress.
- Managing the backlog and roadmap of content library.
- Creation of new modular content components as needed in collaboration with the
- Content strategist to make sure all content is tagged for easy access and reuse
- Attending and coordinating with content production release planning activities to identify library needs.
- Implementing metadata standards for efficient content categorization and retrieval.
- Review of library docs for editorial quality, consistency, and usefulness.
- Collaborating with the Production PM/Producer to make sure the asset creation process is moving as quickly and with the highest quality as possible.
- Identifying, monitoring, and reporting on library use across the organization
- Identifying opportunities for innovation and process optimization to create assets with the greatest impact and fastest time to market.
- Prioritization of user needs and delivery of a content library experience that exceeds expectations
Skills and attributes for success

- Ability to understand and articulate complex business ideas in an engaging, audience-friendly style
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree,
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience working with life science content production teams in similar role to deliver high quality content
- Familiarity with industry regulations and guidelines governing life sciences marketing
- Proficiency in using content creation and marketing technology tools and platforms within life sciences. (e.g. Veeva PromoMats, Adobe Experience Manager, Workfront)
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Publishing house or Big Four experience
- Aptitude and willingness to continually expand your core skillset
- Knowledge in Adobe Workfront, AEM Content Central and VeevaVault Promomats
