Specific project and assignment will be hand-picked by our engineers based on individual strengths and background of each student.SOME GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:- Operate ultra-precision measuring instruments to measure actual lenses and molds- Evaluate accuracy of the surfaces using the obtained 3D point cloud data- Improve existing systems by data analysis and making new process- Propose and implement innovative ideas to improve current metrology system
Minimum Qualifications
- Interest in ultra precision metrology, and 3D point cloud data analysis
- Outstanding academic achievements in own field of study
- Programming skills in languages such as Matlab, Python, C/C++/C#, Swift, and Go are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project experience in ultra precision metrology
- Ability to plan and execute experiments independently and creatively
- Fluent in English and Japanese, especially in reading/writing of technical documentations and presentations
