PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

• Additional Job Description Job Overview: The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for:Development and productize various deep learning based CV solutions on Qualcomm processors for mobile/XR projects.Design of deep learning based CV/imaging features and work with a wide set of teams across the company (systems, software, hardware, etc.) in the productization Responsibilities: The candidate will be expected to work with a team of engineers to design, implement and integrate deep learning based computer vision applications in Qualcomm computer vision framework.Understanding of existing deep learning solutions , enhancing the solutions to work best with Qualcomm computer vision framework running on Qualcomm heterogeneous compute platform.Develop new deep learning based solutions targeted for Qualcomm heterogeneous compute platform through Qualcomm computer vision framework.Create test framework , as needed , for deep learning based solutions.Work closely with other R&D and Systems team for ML model optimizations and system integration, use case testing and commercialization support. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.Work Experience:1.Experience with Deep learning model development , data transformations, model training, model design, model optimization.2.Familiarity with neural network operators and model formats including PyTorch, ONNX, and Tensorflow.3.Familiarity with neural network optimization techniques like quantization, pruning, knowledge distillation, network architecture search etc.4.Experience with machine learning accelerators, optimizing algorithms for hardware acceleration cores, working with heterogeneous or parallel computing systems.5.Strong development skills in Python and C++. Experience with at least one machine learning framework like TensorFlow, ONNX, Pytorch, etc6.Understanding of software development and debugging in embedded environments.7.Strong understanding about embedded systems, system design fundamentals.8.Well versed in version control tools like git9.Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, written)10.Ability to collaborate across a globally diverse team and multiple interests.===========================================================================================================================
