Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
  • Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
  • Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
  • Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
  • Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
  • Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience in Technology roles
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Oracle Development roles
  • Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
  • Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

CLEMS is the strategic application system that implements technical solutions for the program’s business and functional requirements. It is a global golden repository of entities including Citi subsidiary, firm investments and special purpose entities. It replaces multiple legacy systems and becomes the firm wide single source of regulatory reporting on important financial regulation Federal Reserve Act 23A and provides reports to facilitate the publishing of Citi’s financial SEC 10Q/K filing

As the Project Lead, you are responsible for directing, guiding and coordinating the day-to-day operation of Citi’s strategic Legal Entity Management System. You will interact with senior business clients and other stakeholders to determine project priority, timeline and budgets. You will engage Citi Technology partners to secure resources needed and work collaborative to deliver state of the art solutions.

You will manage teams of different disciplines and be accountable for all their deliverables, including E2E development of innovative solutions, software quality control assurance, implementation and deployment. You will oversee execution of all SDLC phases of strategic projects to support the legal entity program’s directives and you are responsible to senior technology management on the success Booking Model System.

You will have the opportunity to play a critical role in a variety of complex and highly visible CLEMS projects contributing to Citi’s commitment of legal entity reduction and management. You will participate in discussions to analyze requirements, propose and implement solutions, and have exposure to acquire extensive knowledge in the area of finance, tax, legal, compliance and SEC/FRB reporting. You will develop interpersonal and leadership skills by managing teams of software developers, quality control engineers, and by interacting with business clients from different functional areas of Citi at all levels.

Technical Skills
  • 8+ years of complete SDLC experience as a Lead Oracle developer / Architect.
  • Proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL tuning, writing packages, triggers, functions and procedures.
  • Expertise with Fine grained access (FGA) and Virtual private database (VPD)
  • Experience with data conversion / migration
  • Excellent trouble shooting and debugging skills.
  • Worked in Onsite - offshore model.
  • Familiarity working in an Agile development model.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • BE or MCA Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • 8 years or greater experience in software development
  • Candidate must demonstrate good coaching skills and the ability to multi-task, influence and work well with other technology and business partners.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior team members
  • Strong negotiation and influence skills
