As a Senior Consultant or Manager - Valuation, you will support our clients within the Financial Services industry regarding valuation matters in various contexts including for transactions, portfolio assessment, restructuring and strategic planning. This work usually assists clients in addressing matters relating to commercial, financial reporting, tax, regulatory matters or strategy.
Your key responsibilities:
- Work within small project teams to undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets. Your work will be for various purposes including management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), tax, financial reporting and disputes.
- Take ownership for delivery of projects within each team. You will be the key person responsible for managing and preparation of valuation reports and detailed financial modelling and analysis.
- Think critically, identify issues and propose strategies related to the advice being provided.
- Maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel and colleagues

- Extensive experience in valuation within the Financial Services sector
- A degree in finance, economics, accounting or business, with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Possessing a CFA credential or actively pursuing one
- Direct experience utilising various valuation techniques and methodologies (market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc) for different purposes
- Experience in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software preferred
- Experience conducting valuations for accounting and or tax planning purposes is desired
- Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal, and teaming skills
Ideally, you’ll have
- Having a CA qualification would be beneficial, but it is not essential
