Join our dynamic Scrum team where you will be implementing features and functions focusing on subscription business domain. You will gain hands-on experience developing and maintaining microservices—primarily in Java and JavaScript—that communicate through messaging and API calls. Be prepared to contribute to high-quality outcomes with a strong emphasis on test automation.

What you will do

• Collaborate within a co-located Scrum team to deliver high-quality features and functions. Develop and maintain microservices in Java and JavaScript.
• Ensure smooth integration and interaction of services via messaging and API calls. Contribute to the enhancement and improvement of CI/CD pipelines.
• Engage in conceptual tasks related to cloud technologies, including Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes. Support application teams with technology-centric tasks, such as multi-tenancy improvements and scalability in cloud-native environments.
• Handle deployment issues, ensuring quality and reliability in production environments.
• Do analysis in cloud environments and administration of corresponding tools (Dynatrace, Kibana, Grafana).

What you bring

• Degree in Computer Science/Informatics, e.g. Business Informatics, or Software Engineering Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript/Node, and Groovy.
• Familiarity with development CI/CD tools and technologies like Git, Maven, IntelliJ, Docker, Jenkins, and database concepts using PostgreSQL and Flyway.
• Exposure to state-of-the-art cloud technologies including Cloud Foundry, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes. Knowledge in IT operation and IT infrastructure technologies, such as operating systems, databases (Hana DB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and network technologies
• Experience with analysis in cloud environments (Dynatrace, Kibana, Grafana)
