Our Global Public Sector GTM Industry team is responsible for accelerating market share and executing strategic GTM initiatives across the company. Reporting to the Head of Global Public Sector, you will act as a visionary and an innovative industry expert and apply your successful track record of building, overseeing, and developing enterprise software go-to-market strategies for all sub verticals within the Public Sector.

In particular, this role will focus on working across the European & Middle East (EMEA) geographies with our integrated Field Sales & Marketing leaders to plan, develop & execute GTM sales growth initiatives. You will work closely with current and prospective customers, partners, and market opinion leaders as a trusted industry advisor to deeply understand their challenges and goals.

What you bring

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:
  • Have direct involvement with our most strategic Public Sector customers and partners to develop successful market plans, build successful relationships, and present Snowflake’s vision for the Industry to Executive & Institutional leaders.
  • Partner with the global sales leaders and sales strategy teams to drive a cohesive industry go-to-market strategy. This includes developing relevant business cases and implementation plans, resource planning, and program oversight to successfully execute within timelines.
  • Work with sales, product, compliance, legal and other cross functional teams to design and develop country / region-specific public-sector roadmaps and execution plans, leveraging best practices and subject matter expertise.
  • Build and employ data-driven and scalable business processes to support concurrent execution of public sector GTM initiatives within company time and resource constraints
  • Develop and deploy an enablement strategy to build a strong foundation of industry knowledge within the organization
  • Collaborate with our product teams to prioritize and deliver industry-specific capabilities in future product roadmaps and drive Snowflake’s Global Public Sector product vision into the market
  • Partner with marketing teams to drive industry awareness and pipeline development
  • Oversee account prioritization, solution and sales play creation to help educate and enable sales, sales engineers, pre-sales and customer success teams.
  • Collaborate with partner and alliance teams to identify, recruit, and enable industry-specific system integrators and ISV partners
ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
  • 15+ years of industry experience working in, selling to, consulting to, or implementing technology for the Public Sector industry. Particular experience with core sales and/or product operations; experience in high growth B2B Software, Platform and/or IaaS environments is highly preferred
  • Be well-versed in the overall challenges and opportunities impacting the public sector including privacy, compliance, and sub-industry nuances of local, regional and education public markets.
  • Experience with consumer analytics, cloud or business intelligence technology strongly preferred
  • Experience working directly with C-level executives and an ability to quickly establish credibility with senior leadership
  • Undergraduate degree, advanced degree preferred
